Summer Fun

Staycation! It's the new Vacation. It's not quite the same but for now it will have to do! We have made the best of our summer days by finding fun things around town to do! Earlier in the summer we took the kids to GREAT WOLF LODGE! Sandra, Terry and Traci went too! We had a blast.

We also went to Bellingham where we saw Aunt Liz, Uncle Jeff and cousins Tyler, Abbey & Sophie! We cooled off in a sprinkler park and we also tried to pick berries. I say "tried" because some picked and others ate as they picked!

We have also discovered some great places around town. Jim's U Fish in Graham was a fun afternoon spent horesback riding, petting animals and running around on the farm.

One of our favorite new spots is Jefferson Park. On a hot afternoon we were able to escape under a shady tree and let the girls run around in the sprinklers and at the playground! The girls were so moved with the pleasurable atmosphere, they decided to do a little meditating. ( It goes to show that little sisters will willingly do just about anything to be like their BIG sister!)We will definitely return again this summer and next time pack a picnic!

My idea of a stay-cation is a little time at the spa. You don't have to fly me to a exotic location to enjoy a pedicure I will glady do that anywhere! The color is California Coral! I love it! Thank you Ron!Love you!

Dream Big Tia

Tia completed Kindergarten. Let the journey begin. It has been amazing watching her grow and her mind start to put things together. She loved her first year at Elk Plain. She really flourished. She made lots of friends. I will never forget the first day of kindergarten. Her and I were the only two to cry. By the end of the year she was getting dropped of on the curb and getting out before the car stopped. We are so proud!
When Tia grows up, she wants to be an Animal Doctor and an Artist. Some of her likes this year were Hannah Montana, High School Musical, the guitar, singing, dancing, drawing, riding her bike, skateboarding, bonding with her little sister and putting together very fashionable outfits. Way to go Tia!

Where does time go?

I can hardly believe that I am 29, married to a wonderful man, have two beautiful healthy girls, Tia, 6 and Sydney, 2. Where does the time go? It would be a really long story to start from the beginning of how we got here but I'll try to keep it give you the short version . . .

Here's a story of a lovely lady, who was going to college and working at Outback Steakhouse. She was set up on a blind date and the rest is history.
Here's a story of a man named Ronderrick, who was working at Qwest Communications.
He was set up on a blind date and the rest is history.
Til the one day when this lady met this fella, They went to see Training Day and then to a Japanese Steakhouse.
And they knew that it was just more than a hunch.
That these two would create a beautiful family.
That's the way they became the Bonds Bunch.
The Bonds Bunch, The Bonds Bunch,
That's the way they became the Bonds Bunch!

It's Never to Late to Start!

A journal, a scrapbook, facebook, myspace, a blog? How does anyone ever decide how to capture the little moments, memories and thoughts that are created each and everyday?
I have decided to start a blog to try to capture what is happening with the Bonds Bunch! Pictures and words, or blogging, will just begin to touch the surface of the lives of Ron, Tia, Sydney and myself. I want to create something that my girls can go back and read when they are older. I feel that with such a crazy and busy lifestyle we have, I need to reflect on the not so chaotic and special times we share with one another. Ready or not, here I go. . . . .
