Milestones

It has been three whole days since Sydney has used a pull-up! This is very exciting in the Bonds household! No more diapers, ever! She is doing so great and it is hard to believe that she is growing up so quickly. Every morning she chooses from Tinkerbell, Elmo or Dora panties! It depends what mood she is in but usually Tinkerbell wins!
The toothfairy will be visiting the Bonds household tonight. Tia lost another tooth! It was one of her "eye" teeth! I think she only has one left to loose! Speaking of the tooth fairy, I gotta go before I forget!

Victoria Secret Model

Tia had spent the day with her friend Sierra. Sierra's Mom dropped her off afterwards and came in to chat for a few minutes. Tia & Sierra immediately went upstairs to play dress up while her Mom and I talked. Tia came downstairs to do a fashion show for us. She had on one of my Victoria Secret nightgowns ( the kind you don't wear in front of the kids) with her Superwoman belt on! Tia continued to prance around the room with her hands on her hip announcing," I am wearing one of my Mommy's Nightgowns." I was mortified!
Here's the kicker: Ron passed Tia on the stairs as she coming down to do the fashion show! I am sure Sierra's Mom will never let Sierra come over to the house unsupervised!

T-W-O. . . . enough said

This is what happens when a two year old tries to paint her own fingernails and toenails. I would not recommend trying this at home.
Let me just tell you how this happened, so hold your phone calls to CPS. I painted Sydney's toe nails this morning and I told her to sit on the couch while they dried. Instead of listening Sydney curled her toes and walked on the carpet, yes while they were still wet. So, I then got nail polish remover and took it off. Sydney apparently took matters into her own hands when I was in the shower and painted her fingers and toes.
P.S. I can't get it off Sydney or the carpet.

Jazz Festival 2009

This was our 4th year that we have attended the Jazz Festival! It has come to be a tradition for us. We enjoy great music, good food and even better company. Maree and Rashad got us attending our first festival four years ago. Maree's Mom and Dad have gone fro the past 11 years as well as Dora and Tommy. The youngsters ( youngsters being, Rashand, Ron, Maree and I) have crashed the party enjoying some long over due "adult time". We plan on continuing this tradition for years to come and maybe one day when our kids are older, they will want to bring their spouse and join us in the tradition!
Cheers!
